| I think that abortion is wrong if the girl went out and had sex on her own free will. If the girl wasn't responsible enough to not get pregnant, then she doesn't have the right to kill it. Although, if the girl was raped, I know that I wouldn't want to go through life looking at my child, and thinking of the horrible time when she was raped. Then I think it's a good reason to get an abortion. Also, say it's an old woman who hasn't gone through menopause, and she gets pregnant and it could kill her to have the baby, then I think she has the choice to get an abortion, unless they can find another way to get the baby out, such as a sea section or another method, but I think that if her life depends on it, then it's totally ok. But if the girl went out and got herself pregnant, then she should have to have the baby just because she didn't have enough responsibility. |

| I don't think that I could ever go through with an abortion myself, but I do think that the option should be there. Women sometimes need to have an abortion and if performed legally by a proffesionally trained doctor the procedure is actually less dangerous than carrying a child to full term. Illegalizing abortion would only cause problems because women who needed them would end up getting them from untrained people who would "butcher" the baby. | hello my name is heather.i am a single 19 year old mother of 2 precious little girls. i had my first one at the age of 15. i don't understand how mothers can kill their babies. if they didn't want them then why did they have sex. i didn't want kids at a young age but i figured hey it is better than killing them or giving them up for adoption. adoption is better than abortion in a sense but you don't know how long they will be in a home til someone adopts them. i am with you guys all the way in trying to make abortions illegal. it is so sad. every little kid should have a chance to live. i read in the one story that was about the baby that lived for 80 minutes after abortion and if i was there i would of waited 2 minutes and then tried to keep the baby alive. and then the selling of the fetus. i would kill someone if i ever found out about it. that is just sick. are our babies some kind of prey for the twisted minded. i don't think so. even if i had a baby that had some kind of deformity or a disease or something i would still have it and give it a chance to live. well thats it i am going to give my little girls a kiss cause i love them so much. heather |

| Hello, I want to tell everyone that I pray for you all every day. I myself considerd abortion when at the young age of 15 I found out that i was pregnant. Well I didn't go through with it, and now I'm 16 and my very special daughter Cassidy-Lynn is learning how to walk, it just melts my heart when she trys so hard to say momma. I would give my life for her in a second. It brakes my heart to know that millions of babies are torn from the womb of their mothers every day. Cassidy's daddy left me when I wouldn't have an abortion but that didn't matter to me because I was determin to raise my little girl the best I could. She will be a year old November 25 and her father has only come to see her once and that was at the hospital. | I just went through this website and the topic of abortion totally disturbs me. I can't even begin to believe how cruel people can be. Performing an abortion is death and is wrong in every way. | I'm two months pregnant, and this helped me to realize why abortion is wrong. But you need to put more about first trimester abortions. Because people think that if the baby is only 1 or 2 months mature it's o.k. And of course it's not. So you need to help other mothers that think if the baby isn't past 20 weeks, it's no big deal. And please get into detail. Because it's a known fact that most people who have abortions have them between 2-3 months. | I am 20 years old and 14 weeks pregnant and I am faced with the decision to keep my baby or abort it. I have to say it is the hardiest decision I have ever had to make. I am not able to take care of my baby even though I want it with my heart. I can't decide if I'd rather have my baby and take a chance on making it suffer in this world b/c it's mom can't be with it b/c I work alot and doesn't have the time to spend with her baby to raise it right and give it a mother it deserves. | This is a great web-site.It has help me with a report for school. Personally I think abortion is so very wrong. I mean once a child is concieved its human even if a docter says its not. The child is breathing isn't, its eating and growing then its human. I don't care what these people say that child is human and should not be killed. There are tons of ways you could care for that child or have the child cared for such as foster care or putting the baby up for adoption.There are a ton of people out there who can't have kids and its just breaks my heart to see someone kill it when someone could actually give the child the love and affection it needs. | My preacher did a sermon Sunday night on abortion and it really boggled my mind. I never and WOULD never even think about getting an abortion, but when my preacher announced that 100 babies die every minute in this world due to abortion, and he said "well I've been talking for twenty minutes now, so you do the math" I sat there and thought and thought about it that 2000 babies had died since he began talking. TERRIBLE! I'm a 17 year old girl, a senior in high school, a girl that cannont go a day with out someone mentioning "abortion." I Learned from the sermon that a baby has a heart beat after the 8th day of pregnancy, the baby develps brain waves at 40 days of pregnancy. In ANY hospital, they consider a 'live' human being to have a heart beat and brain waves. It's the kinda thought that makes you think. Right now a man is being held on trial for manslaughter, due to getting in a car accident with a pregnant women. The "child" in her stomach died. But the quesion is, is that "If society thinks of a baby in a womb not officially alive yet, then how can it have died?" I hope you have read this and understand it. Please ponder the following points: 1. Adoption is always an option. 2. If thousands of women are dying from illegal abortions, they should stop having them. Makes sense to me. 3. The VAST majority of abortions are performed for NON medical reasons. Women are having abortions because they simply do not want to go through with their pregnancey and give birth. | I believe a woman has every right i she is in a bad situation to have an abortion. I myself just last Friday had to have one. I suffer from severe anxiety disorder and agoraphobia and have to take meds. That would and could hurt the baby severly. When i am over my problems i plan to have a wonderful child. The doctor I had is not a murder, but a life saver. Alot of women would be dropping kids of in trash bins if abortion wasn't an option. And just so you know i had mine very early into my pregnancy. i was 3 1/2 weeks along. I had no financial way to support the child b/c I can not get out and work b/c of my agoraphobia.
